<Building Services II> focuses on 4 main aspects of building services which are Air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation system, Fire protection system, Vertical transportation system and electrical system. We are also taught to be familiar with basics requirements, Uniform Building By-Law (UBBL), planning, coordination and installation of these services. With this module, I am able to recognise and interpret drawings related to buildings services, also illustrate services construction in schematic diagrams.

In this module, we were graded based on an individual assignment, a group assignment which form a group of 5 people and a final exam assigned by our lecturer.

For our individual assignment, we are to provide an essay about green technology’s policy, critically analyse and discuss the various ways how air conditioning systems can enhance green technology.

In our group assignment, we are required to attempt a building services field case study. The main objective of this assignment is to expose us to the real life case study of the basic principles, processes and equipment of various building services systems for a shopping complex. So, we have chose JAYA MALL  for our case study building. All in all, I am able to distinguish and differentiate the installation of the 4 main type  of services we had taught in lectures at our case study building.
