<BUILDING SERVICE I> introduces us to services that are commonly provided in a building, primarily cold water treatment and supply, sewerage disposal and treatment, storm water management, telecommunication services and ventilation systems. Students are also made familiar with basics requirements, Uniform Building By-Law (UBBL), planning, coordination and installation of these services.

  In this module, we were graded based on mid-term test, a group assignment which form a group of 7 people and a final exam assigned by our lecturer. Also , we were required to present our studies based on selected topic for the group assignment.

REFLECTION

With the lectures, tutorials and sometime online tutorials, I am able to identify relevant information related to water supply, liquid waste disposal, storm water management, security services and ventilation system. Also, recognize and interpret drawings related to buildings services and to illustrate services construction in schematic diagrams.
