<STRUCTURE> helps student exposed to structural elements, such as beams, slabs and columns, and the functions of it. I'm able to develop and understand the of basic concept of structures taken in construction technology after the guidance of Mr.Chai with his knowledge in the areas of physics & engineering.

The module's assessment consists of a mid-term test, an individual assignment & final exam. The individual assignment is an in class assignment where students are require to complete the graphical method of trusses within a period.

There are 5 chapters in this modules: Engineering principles, Forces & Equilibrium, Forces in beams, truss and columns. I find shear force and bending moment of beam the most interesting among all topics, as i learnt to find out and solve the problems encountered using the structure principles. Besides, I've learn to be careful while doing all the calculation to eliminate error which will lead to huge difference of answer. Most importantly, I can identify the structural principles applied to the overall design objectives.
