This module intends to inform the students the relevant physical and chemical properties of a wide range of building materials.The materials are such as concrete , metals , rubber , ceramic , paints ,timber , stones , bricks & blocks , plastics and glass . It also encompasses the broad environmental debate by including energy saving and recycled materials.

 

  There are 2 assignments in this module , an integrated assignment and a site report which has been mentioned in Measurement I and Construction Technology. At the end of this module , i am able to choose the suitability and advantages materials in relations to it functions for each spaces of house.

 

  I do enjoy this class as I gain more knowledge about the process of the materials that I've learnt. Besides that, I appreciate the kindness of the lecturer as she has been really patient and helpful throughout the whole semester.
