The semester 1 students of Bachelor of Quantity Surveying were given an assignment that involves 3 modules , which are Measurement 1 , Construction Technology 1 and Building Materials. All students were required to study on pad footing and write a construction site report after the site visit .

    The site visit to construction site was organized on 19th of October 2015 by Ms.Azrina Md Yaakob , our lecturer of Construction Technology 1. The construction site is located at Seksyen 2A , Antara Gapi , Hulu Selangor , Selangor . It was a construction of 96 units of semi D (40’ x 60’).

    The  purpose of organising this site visit was simple because to let all of the students to visualize the theory we learn in class. This site visit gave us an opportunity  to have a clear understanding on constructing and the material used  on the site .Most importantly , it  let us experience the actual working environment as a qualified Quantity Surveyor .
